Carolina Improvements was founded in 2004 by James Harrington, a lifelong craftsman who grew up watching his father remodel homes across the Piedmont Triad. After years working for regional contractors, James set out to build a company that would do things differently – one where every homeowner is treated like family and every project is completed as if it were his own home.
What started as a two-man operation in Greensboro has grown into a team of 30+ skilled professionals serving homeowners from the Appalachian foothills to the Outer Banks. We’ve completed over 1,000 projects spanning roofing, siding, decks, windows, enclosures, garages, driveways, and much more.
